The Dialogue Series - Since 1976
Since 1976, the Academy of Fine Arts and Literature has been home to a vibrant tradition of dialogue and exchange. On the last Sunday of every month, the Academy hosts its Dialogue Series—a platform that brings together writers, artists, thinkers, academics, and social voices from across the country and beyond.
What began as an initiative to encourage free and fearless conversation has, over the decades, grown into one of the Academy’s most cherished traditions. Each session sparks meaningful exchange on literature, arts, culture, gender, politics, and contemporary concerns, nurturing a space where diverse perspectives meet.
The Dialogue Series continues to embody the Academy’s founding vision: to create a forum where creativity, critical thought, and social commitment come together in dialogue—sustaining an unbroken conversation for nearly five decades.

Blue Potter Book Release & Ajeet Cour’s 91st Birthday Celebration
AFAL proudly celebrated the release of Ajeet Cour’s latest book, The Blue Potter alongside the milestone of her 91st birthday — an evening honouring a literary icon whose work has shaped South Asia’s cultural imagination.
